MARIO L. GUINI BORN: Buenos Aires, Argentina April 12, 1953 INSTRUMENTS PLAYED: Keyboards, Guitar,Bass, Vocals.
HISTORY:
After performing in Argentina with famous artist including Lito Nebbia from the band Los gatos and very talented musicians including Keyboardist Hugo Gonzalez Neira from the Band Aquelarre and Harlem R&B, Mario moved to the States in 1980 with his family and son Mario 'Jr who is presently performing as a guitarrist with Marc Antony and singer/actress Jennifer Lopez.
Cronology:
Nov 2008-Today: Playing with the Jhonny Charro band for the past 8 years.
December 1999-April 2000: Formed the Variety Duo "Spektrum" alternating between Two very talented and professional female vocalists: Jamie and Star. All the music was customed and performed by Him (keyboards, sequences, and guitar). They worked locally at: Legends, Britts, Captain Kosmakos, Tropix and Shephard's at Clearwater beach .
April 1995-December 1999: Performed at Shephard's Restaurant, Clearwater Beach, FL. Where he was band leader, soundman, created sequences, played keyboards and guitar, and also sang lead and backup vocals for the band "Spectrum One". 1993-1995: Performed in different local bands in various Top 40/ Variety clubs. (Hilton, Sheraton, Gators On the Pass, etc..)
1990-1993: he was a member of the duo "Hartbraker" with Julianna Weintraub. They played at various clubs all over the State of Florida and also the following cruiseships: Carnival Cruiselines, Miami, FL (The Ecstasy, The Celebration) Dolphin Cruiselines, Miami, FL (The Dolphin IV) Empress Cruiselines, Madiera Beach, FL (The Crown Empress) Europa Cruiselines, St. Petersburg, FL (The SeaKruz) The Pride of Galveston, Galveston, Texas
1988-1990: Played in a houseband situation at Westin's Innisbrook Resort, Palm Harbor, FL. My trio played jazz, easy listening, and also high energy variety music
1985-1988: He was a member of the band "Amazon" and travelled throughout the State of Florida. They frequently played at the long gone Brown Derby Restaurant chain.
1980-1985: Musical Director and performer for the Las Vegas show troupe "Gauchos and Girls" out of Miami, FL. This show travelled all over the United States before disbanding in Las Vegas,NV
